Espe Rundt is a 7 km fitness run held weekly from Easter to the moose hunt, starting from Nordåsveien 43 in Birkeland. The race is unique as the presumed weakest participant can break the finish line first in the final, which takes place on September 22. The course, which is 7050 m long, is challenging and includes varied terrain such as asphalt, gravel roads, forest paths, marshes, hills, and rocky sections. The organizer has conducted the race over 650 times since its inception in 1989.
